: About Ed (Shadow)

Pertaining to his custom paint work: First off,, I was painting cars when I was 15 back in the laquer days. A few years back after my Dad passed I had to take over his body shop. I ran the shop by day & painted at night. I also expanded into custom motorcycle painting. There for I proclaim myself an "expert whitness". Ed is not only a skilled painter,, but an artist as well. Let me add,,, I have nothing to gain or any buisness conection to Ed. I have seen most all of Eds work posted here. What concernes me is: Eds posts just make it look too simple & fast. I know better. The camo muli color work he does takes a GREAT amount of tedious VERY time consuming work. This tells me several things about Ed. In order for him to do the beutifull work he does so quickly,,,, he DOES NOT SLEEP!! His shop is tremendously organized & well stocked. Yall have ANY idea of just how much equipment/supplies it takes to do that kind of work?? Ever thought about chemical disposal?? Hmmm?? Ed LOVES his work. (He dam shure aint in it for the money) If he was he would be bringing in four figures for a camo Harley!!(http://../jscripts/tiny_mce/plugins/emotions/images/smiley-money-mouth.gif)(I Know). I just hate to think people may get the impresion the ARTWORK Ed creates happens in amatter of a few hours,,it DONT,, trust me. I know there are other painters here that know what Im talking about. My hats off to Ya Ed,,, take a break Buddy,,, get some sleep,,,, & go get us some critters for Huntin Gate!!(http://../jscripts/tiny_mce/plugins/emotions/images/smiley-cool.gif)Tim.

I thank you all for the very kind word's and I praise the Good Lord for alittle talent to do this. It does take time to get a camo project done but when I get started on one I just get into it and by the end of the day I'm dragging my tail lol. I do enjoy doing this for people and a bunch for my GTA family and the response from satisfied folks makes it all worth it believe me.:) I would never want to go into mass production with camo, to me it would loose that personal touch and I think that's what customers look for and want. Now don't let this get out but really I got a bunch of elves in the shop doing this and I just pop in throw some orders and paint around then go hunting lol. Ed

Timmy...I know just whatcha mean!

I'm a painter and airbrush artist myself and I know EXACTLY what goes into Ed's work. It amazes me how quickly he can finish a project! With stencil time, masking, unmasking, remasking, shading, highlites... DRY TIME!

MAN! I wish I had that type patience!
