I seem to be having an issue with beeman pointed pellets. At 15 yards I at least expect to hit on the target someplace and not have them going through tree branches 5 feet above the target area. All the RWS Diabolo rounds were right on target. Anyone else have this issue? All pellets were fired from a Gamo Bigcat.

Hello Greg,
I have not found, or heardany pointed pellets that shoot well at all, not beyond say 15 yards.
The round nosed pellets seem to perform best for me and most shooters, especially beyond 20+ yards.
I hope this helps you :)

I've only found two pointed pellets that hit consistantly with my rifles,....the JSB Preds, and the Beeman Silver Stings. I picked up the SS's yesterday at the local pawn shot to try out in my Diana 34,... .22, ....and they were suprisingly accurate at my 30 yard trap shooting off-hand. The Spoons were buzzing I might add!!! LOL's. I like the weight of them at 15.74 grs,...but the skirts are a tad thicker than the JSB's so I might use them in my Benji pumper instead. But like BB said, round nose pellets usually give the best and most accurate results as alot of shooters have found out!!! tjk
