I'm so excited about this rifle purchase and can hardly wait to try it out after being tuned by Mike. Now I have to get a scope and mount but I'm having a tough time on which to choose.

I got the Leapers 3-9X40 AO RG $70 + $20 Accushot one piece high mount.

You will love it! I know exactly how your feelling right now, I thought I would bust while I was waiting for mine to come in, but it was so worth the wait, now I don't know how I got along for so long without it, I've shot mine everyday since it got here, I've already killed a half a dozen birds with it, I've got it so dialed in that I can step out on the back deck and shoot the gumballs out of the top off the gumball tree (that I hate) in my back yard, its almost to easy! I put a Leapers UTG 4X32AO with mil-dot recticle on mine, Mike ordered it for me for 60 bucks and I'm glad he did because it has a better sight picture that my 180 dollar Busnell Banner on my .22mag, I couldn't believe what a good scope it is for 60 dollars, I'm gonna buy another one of them in 3X9X40AO for the next gun I buy off Mike, probably a B40 or a B28 I haven't made up my mind yet, either way I'm sure it will be great comin' from Mike. You will definately be happy when you get it, all I had to do was locktite the mounting screws, mount the scope and enjoy, its SMOOTH!

Hi
I'm in the UK so my B26 is home rather than MM tuned.
I use a Walther 4x12x50 scope Illuminated center milldot reticle & adjustable objective lens with a 30mm tube.
You'll find the exact same scope but badged as a RWS at say Airgun Depot for about $110.00 US & includes mounts.
Must admit I love them Accushot mounts so I spent the extra £ on a pair of high one's.
Good light-gathering properties from that big objective lens & wide tube
It's got the edge over a 3x9x40 & yep, I got me a Walther 3x9x40 IR/AO duplex ret with a 25mm (1 inch) tube, to compare it to, sat on top of a Techforce 99.
Maybe spend a little more on a better scope now so you don't buy a second time when you start drooling over something a bit bigger & better.

John, You will love that rifle,...and Mike does superb work on them. Very smooth firing cycle, and exceptional trigger tuning. My .177 cal rifle Mike worked on feels the more like shooting a pumper than a springer even though it's not a magnum rifle. You can get a fairly decent center-point scope at wal-mart for around $60, and it comes with rings too. And if it shoots as smooth as most of his guns do,...you might not have to worry about purchasing a one-piece mount for recoil and scope-shift. I'd ask him first before buying one. Hope you get many years of enjoyment with your new shooter!!!! tjk

Check out the Centerpoint 4x16x40 AO IR scope at Wal-mart, I just upgraded from the 3x9x30 Centerpoint they sell there also. The advantage is the AO, really helps with the focus and therefore accuracy (at least for me!) Only 11.00 more and alot more scope. Also has true hunter windage and elevation with a scale on the outside for making adjustments, then easily returning to zero, or they can be locked down. keeps you from removing the caps all the time.
