♥♥♥ After working with the discovery a week or two and getting it set up to suit my needs,

I am convienced the discovery has got to be one of the best buys available.

My experiance with qualityair guns is limited,I have had a Beeman C1,R10,RWS,34 a wood stocked crossman pump rifle

and an assortment of CO2 pistols (benjamin 22 is favorite in spite of poor sights).

What makes thediscovery so enjoyablefor meto shoot is the ability to get all the pumping over at one time (no air tank yet)so once settled

down to shoot no getting up to pump or cock the gun, just work the bolt and load a pellet. The gun is not picky with hold, scope, mounts or

tempature it is easy to work onand is morepowerful and accurate than any other air guns I have seen in the 2-300$ price range.

(http://../jscripts/tiny_mce/plugins/emotions/images/smiley-kiss.gif)I think I am basking in the warm after glow of my first PCP.

You guys helped me chose thedisco. and I thank you. Mark

Glad to hear the rifle is performing so well, that's great......

Just curious,,, did you order a stock one or did you buy one of the "prepped" guns ????  Or,,,, what if anything did you do to the rifle since getting it  ???

If you hunt with that shooter be sure to post the stories and pics in the Hunting Gate.....

I can see Jeff that you are still longing for one of them babies..:) Timmy brought  his over when he stayed with me for a couple days. I shot his and was very impressed with the overall performance. The wood was a bit rough but that did not hurt it's performance one bit..
I think I am gonna get one of them or the newer one that Crosman has on not released yet.

Mark, I can believe how you feel about your new PCP. Crosman has opened the doors really wide now for us middle class folks to be able to afford a PCP and the  quality is right on.

Have fun and good luck

Jeff  my disco was stock. I cleaned it well before I shot it and was impressed with how easy it was to get good groups compared to other guns I have owned.
I have now done the trigger mod  ,added a 4-12x40 scope a 1" thick recoil pad to make the length of pull fit as I like, and a sling.
I have shot a couple of crows and 3 sparrows but I did not take any pictures.(we feed deer and song birds in the  back yard ,the disco will help control the pests drawn to the feeders)
I may need to upgrade the scope rings I put on they look a little weak and I keep thinking about a power adjuster for indoor shooting do not need 830fps for 30' targets but I am very happy with the performance now.

Gene , do you have a web sight that shows the products and services you offer?

There are some extremely nice powerful high quality pcp guns available, but starting about 5 or 600$ with no sight or equipment to charge them it would be easy to have 1000$ invested to be ready to shoot. In the discovery I have less than the cost of a bare gun in my gun, sight, pump and other accessories.

I consider a product that exceeds my "expectations" based on its price,to be a quality product the discovery does this for me.....Mark(http://../jscripts/tiny_mce/plugins/emotions/images/smiley-cool.gif)

Don it is a" Pachmayr delux field 325B small-black." the screw holes matched and had plenty of material for grinding to fit.
If I could get my camera to work I post a few pics.(http://../jscripts/tiny_mce/plugins/emotions/images/smiley-frown.gif)Mark
