On my new Air Wolf came a Nikko/Sterling 6-24x56 scope.

I'm having problems adjusting the range.

On my Leapers 4-16x56, I had maybe7-8turns full range adjustment, and on a cheap F+M "Famous Maker" [came with the gun] I get 6 turns.

On this n/k, I have 2 1/2 turns, and I'll have to shim to get it into range because I can't gohigh enough for some pellets.

Shouldn't there be more adjustment in the vertical travel?

Maybe something is wrong with the scope?

     What do you mean by " range " ? Don't do any shimming at this point. Best of luck....

range is vertical adjustment of the crosshairs

     Did you start out with the scope optically centered ?

I think the scope is broken.

Zero was changing, and now what should be 6-8 turns is 2 1/2 turns.

It was installed by AoA on fixed BKL mounts.

I like adjustable mounts, to keep the optical center centered.

Just bad luck, I guess.

Have to call AoA tomorrow.

One problem after another.
