I got this gun a few days ago. The only gripe I have with it is that the barrel is noticeably pointing up and left respective to the receiver and barrel holder (is that what it's called?).

I managed to point the barrel down to center by adding two layers of electrical tape around and under the o-ring in the breech to force the barrel to lock a little earlier while still maintaining a good air seal.
However the barrel is pointing so much to the left that it takes all of the scope windage adjustment to sight the scope. Before I added the o-ring spacers, it took more than all of the elevation adjustment to sight the scope up-down.
Is there anything I can do? It seems that the barrel is epoxied into the barrel holder crookedly from the factory.

The barrel is bent, look through the bore and you will see it has been bent in shipping, you can straighten it if you are careful or send it out and have it done.
-
Just took the barrel off and it does seem to be bent. There shouldn't be any problem with sticking this in a vise and muscling is straight is there?
-
I would send it back and get a new one.. Ya shouldn't have to bend a barrel on your own.... Get a new one..
-
you can bend it back but might as well get a new one as it's under warranty.........
-
Thanks for the input guys. I bent it straight with a vise. Would have been much more trouble to send it back.
-
Weird, it's now bent back the way it was. Called XisicoUSA with no answer. Should I call Cobra?
-
If that's where you got it thats who to call......
-
I'd send it back till it gets too late. It'll keep on bugging your mind all the time. At least it would bug my mind knowing that barrel might not be completely straight.
just my opinion.
