I figured what the heck. Set them up at 25 yrds so I could kill them with my TX200 with the 32x Burris scope from a bench. Didn't work. They are too springy and they just went flying.

Didn't even poke a hole in them!
So I switched to acorns. Now there's some action! 5 out of 5 at 25 yards.

Couldn't find the other pieces.
Tried Doritos too. Tried to shoot smiley faces in them but they would break after about 3 shots so I gave up.

This is sort of a revised edition of mini sniping, eh? I recognize the board.

I think you need to pin those gummy bears in front of that piece of wood......maybe they'll splatter with a pellet hit.
-
Just for fun and something to splatter, try your hand shooting at paintballs on the head of a nail. There are still a few places where you can buy just a vial of paintballs rather than a jumbo case.
-
I set them on golf tees, once you've shot a few, the extra paint helps hold them in place, great fun. Messy, though, even setting up to have them inside my home made pellet trap, they splatter 10 feet or more out the front. Maybe if I freeze them...

Ron....What's in the bag that your usin' to catch the pellets. Lookin' for ideas................Raoul

That's my bow target. They are pretty reasonable priced and easy to move around. Don't know how long it will last but it's held up pretty well after a thousand shots and none have gone through.

Is it just filled with straw ???? I'm looking to build a good backstop for 10-25 yard use, and don't want to spend a lot on something like ductseal if I don't have to. I really wish I could get them to return all the phonebooks that I recycled. I have an old white birch in the backyard that is in sad shape. I'm sure I could mount targets to it, and have some firewood in short order !!!!

I really don't know. But I think it may be bulk cotton fibers and some foam.
-
Thanks.....gives me something to go by...............Still lookin' at that birch......wouldn't even need a chainsaw........

I know what you mean. I got an oak tree that just won't die of lead poisoning. I'm sure it weighs a WHOLE lot more than normal.
