: 22 Cal. Barrel For Gamo 890 ???

I just ordered a Gamo 890 from Cabela's for $119.00 with a BSA 3-12 50mm scope in .177 cal. I really wanted a .22 cal. but for the price I thought I might get a .22 cal. barrel for it and still come out ahead of the normal $258.00 most places are getting for them. Anyone know where I might get a .22 cal. barrel for it ?

I got one from Rich in Mich - it was a take-off from a .20 conversion, I believe.

That's about it... you're gonna have to find something like that.

I have .20 Walther barrels for it but no .22's

The .20 is a better choice than a .22 in my opnion. My Shadow with a 15 inch .20 barrel shoots 11.2's at 790's /  800 fps, with a .22 in a Gamo you won't get much over 680's.

In fact a customer just brought over a Shadow 890 in .22 for a .20 barrel conversion and we put some 14.3's over the crony, 620's was all it would do.
