That diamondback snake idea put me in the shop this morning and did some testing on a Gamo 220 stock. Again I'll throw some foliage around here and there and see what happens. Ed

Put some eyes and a mouth on the forearm and I think you'd scare the pants off whoever went to pick it up.

Dang Ed, now that looks so sweet. My wife said it looks evil, best compliment you can get.
You have me about,  |-|,  that close to doing it. Diamondback is either in desert or brownish foliage.

Thanks again and Paul I was using the Eastern type Rattler as a guide. The western design would be the colors you mentioned. I was looking at some pic's of em and what a difference between the western and eastern snakes, in the east they have a greenish hide and in the west the tans, browns and black with little shot's of white. The camo now has a head and will add some highlight's then lay some foliage up around where he comes down the grip area. Ed

That looks sweet, but If I do mine, Uhm, could you point that head the other way.
Might mess on myself.

LOL......sure buddy.:) I decided on this spot since it flowed with the grip area and with the foliage added hopefully it will be like he's winding back around. Ed
