: Is th Bam B25 and B26 the same?
: shawn67 February 04, 2009, 06:15:10 AM
Is the B25 and B26 the same powerplant? From what I have seen on their website they appear to shoot at or very close to the same velocities, the B25 has some different stocks available (wood, a synthetic, a wierd looking shark fin model) and I don't think the B25 will have the rekord trigger but other than that I don't see a lot of difference, I recently wrote to Xisico and told them that I thought that they should try to make a gun in .25 caliber, either make a .25 option for the B28 or even better since they make such good copies of european guns to make a copy of the Webley Patriot\Beeman Kodiak, what do you guys think? What guns would you like to see them try to make? I doubt it will happen but you never know, maybe if   they think they can make a hot seller it could happen.

Thanks Gene, I had just been checking out their new stuff and it made me wonder, it would make sense to use the same power plant on different models to save production cost I guess, I think they should make a synthetic thumbhole stock option for the B26(or any of their guns) especially since their wood one has such a high comb on it, maybe a camo version, I bet it would be a hot seller. What do you guys think?

I thought the weird shark fin was pretty cool. I just hope it isn't as high as the B26-2 comb.

Yeah I thought it was cool looking too, its definately different,  I don't think anything could be as high a the B26-2's comb lol.

Extra friction for handling????  ( The "sniper" version)

Somebody at Xisco is smoking something.

That's the wackiest BS I've read in awhile.

Just had delivery of the Ruger B-25, rifle had Xisico-B25S on it, synthetic stock model. as you know the Plastic stock tend to transmit vibration better than the wood ones....I am surprised at the rifle, 800's with 10 grain, 900'sw with lighter, clone of the RWS 34????? if so they have beaten the Germans at their own game, the fireing cycle is much smoother than the out of the box 34's I have had, accuracy is good, new barrel and all that etc.....wil let you know more when I get it all tore down///TO% trigger///////Mike

They are not the same, B-26 is close to the R-9, B-25 is colser to the RWS 34,, the B-25 has a smoother firing cycle than the 34 by a long shot, don't feel like you ar playing a banjo when you fire....

Hey Mike, I think I am just as excited as you are getting that B-25....:) So far it sounds good. I ordered the wood stock version from Pyramid on Monday but they still have not shipped it yet. But will be waiting with baited breath to see what you have to say about the rest..:)

Sounds interesting! If its that smooth out of the box it ought to really be something after you tune one, I've never shot the 34 myself but I had heard that they vibrate alot, is the synthetic stock on the B25 hollow Mike?

I own RWS 34 and RWS 34 Panther. They do have a kick when shot but they can be tamed with a good tune. All RWS air rifles are dry as a bone when they come from the factory. It will be interesting to see more numbers though to compare them.
