I'm the proud owner of a .22 cal Disco. What are the benefits of a tune? Aside from being loud, everything seems to be working just great.
-
Tim @ Mac 1 does some small tune items that improve the Disco. He checks the crown and recrowns if needed, smooths and deburs the loading port,/barrel throat, adds a power adjuster and smooths up the trigger. If you are happy with the performance of your Disco as is, great.

Just wanted to welcome you Mark. Stephanie already answered your questions.
I'll be looking forward to your future posts on that shooter and if you hunt with it be sure to post the stories and pics in the "Hunting Gate". We just love hunting stories and pics .
AGain, WELCOME.....

WOW! Thanks for the quick replies and warm welcome! I'm pretty happy with the rifle as is for now. About the only mod I want to do is mount a shroud. I'm looking at TKO and the Mountain Air units. Anyone know which is quieter?
-
Mark, a tune made my Disco much smoother to cock the bolt and load pellets, simple crown job improved accuracy. Also filed down transfer port, which comes too high from the factory sometimes. Did all the work myself, as I usually do... Do not know about the muzzle brakes, I am using Anthony Storey one, works very well.
Power adjuster can be added as well to get more consistent shots. I do not have one.
Disco is a good rifle to work with, replacement parts are available cheap from Crosman.
