tore it down and found it was in realy bad shape.the insides are rusting and the barrel seal is gone the piston seal had a peice of a pull chain inbeded into it.But all is not lost the spring is ok and is an exact match for a crosman spring so I put it in a downed Quest 1000 and now it's up and shooting like new again.I will be getting a whole bunch of parts this spring to redo all my springers and will see what this B3 can do with some TLC.

hehehe...Had a piece of Dog Tag Ball Chain embedded in the seal eh? I remember doin that when I was a kid and didn't have any BB's on hand. Looks like I wasn't the only one!

If it shoots too far left to scope it, look down top of the breech along the barrell. Chances are it is bent. If you are careful, you can bend it back to center and it will scope OK.

nope the barrel is straight it's the dovetail that off.I realy don't care for this type of rifle (finger chomper) but will fix it up and keep it for the heck off it.

One thing I have noticed when shortening barrels of B3. Outer surface can be straight, but bore isn´t. Bore is centered at muzzle ,but after cutting it is not. For example I bent one B3 to get it shoot straight. I shortened barrel about five inches and now I should bend it back.
