Purchased 5 tins (500 per tin) of the new JSB Exact Jumbo Heavy in .22 cal from Jim at Precision Airguns. They arrived today. I shot these groups off a front rest at 30 yards with the AA 410 ERB on 3/4th power setting. Pretty easy to obtain 1-hole groups! BTW, the top 2 bulls were with the Theoben Crusader .20 cal with JSB Exacts, also at 30 yards. I weighed ~100 of the JSB Exact Jumbos and got an average weight of 18.11 grains, SD 0.11 grains (0.61%). Weights ranged from 17.85 grain to 18.3 grain with distribution as shown. Compare to the slightly larger, heavier Beeman Kodiak pellet (on the right) at about 21.8 grains.
The JSB Exact Jumbo Heavys in .22 seem to be an excellent choice for the AA 410 ERB.

I'd have to say that the JSB brand of pellets are the 'creme de la creme' of most commecial pellets. I've had nothing but great results with all of their pellets I've shot so far!!!! Seeing your groups only re-affirms my thoughts and preferences for the JSB's. tjk

Yes they are Thomas. They shoot even good in some of my springers..:) But for the most part I have had good luck with the CP heavies in my PCP's and CP's in some of my springers.:) Even RWS Domed work well in a few of them aslo.. But you are right about the JSB, I think you are less likely to find a batch that the weight will differ much. I use the .20 JSB's in my Gamo .20 cal L/W and they shoot excellent..:) What can I say.. hehe

I ordered 3 tins to try them in my Logun MKII. But I don't think they will work as they are a smidge too long for the JSB Exact "gate" and too short for the Kodiak "gate". : ( I tried and could not get them to feed (other than single shot) through the Logun's inline mag. I guess I'll stick with theJSB Exacts, since the Logun's other favorite pellet, the Accupell is going away. I have not tried them in my AA 410 ERB yet. I did shoot a group with my Gamo 1250 and it shot a pretty good (not great but better than average with other pellets) group @ 50 yards. I haven't tried them in any other rifles. I am hoping for better weather this weekend i.e less wind so I can try some long range shooting.

I too use the JSB Exact Jumbo's in my AA s410ERB in .22cal and got very good results with them. I think the top left target was with the lighter pellets and not the heavy ones.
