I finally had time to really check out Gene's tune on my old Gamo Hunter 220. Wow - what a difference! I had Gene do his super tune instead of his turbo tune since I 'm more of a "plinker" than anything else. It's hard to believe it's the same rifle. It's much quieter, smoother to cock, and shooting around 950 fps with 7.5 grain pellets on Gene's chrony.
The really big surprise was the improved accuracy! I had already noticed better accuracy before Gene's tune when I installed Bob's [aka Charlie da Tuna] GRT-III trigger. However, Gene's tune really improved my old Gamo's groups. I tried several pellets and attached are some of my better 10 meter groups. Not too bad for an "old guy" shooting from a rickety patio table. I believe I could shoot "one hole" groups from a real bench rest.
Keep up the great work Gene! Great job!

CONGRAT'S! George sound's and look's like you got a sweetheart of a shooter there. :) Gene does some real tune magic on them and the difference between a untuned and tuned shooter is like night and day. 8) Ed

Yes, I enjoyed meeting you, Gene. Sorry I had to leave so abruptly. I still haven't run many pellets after the tune, but it's already shooting tight groups. I will definitely call and stop by next time I'm in town.
Great job on the tune....Thanks.

Yep....I'm a believer now. A good tune makes a world of difference.

I installed a GRT-III trigger on a Phantom, - plus recently had a Turbo Tune done by Gene, not the same gun, ... fortunately. Smoother and far more accurate.

Yep...Gene does a great tune. My Hunter is breaking-in very nicely - now that I've put hundred or so pellets through it. It just gets better and better.
