Bought a Gamo 440 from Gene C. and it holds 26 pellets just like my CFX does. Very easy to use and zero cost. This is a quiet way to carry ammo while you are waling. Check out the Hunting Gate for two posts on how well this gun shoots.

Hey PBJ.... just keep in mind though that with most pellets when stored in those holes, the skirts of the pellets can very well be deformed when inserting them and removing them. Some pellets are more susceptible than others.

I took a shot a sample of 20 or so after I put them in and took them out. Perhaps not as accurate as strait from the tin but not enough to matter when shooting offhand with or without a scope at small game. I only use Gamo Hunters and RWS Super Domes this way. I have lots of choices and will look at all the skirts with a glass and see how tough they are. I put them in nice and easy and have a "one fingernail" removal tool that seems to do the job. I set the skirts flush with the pad and on my guns they stay that way and so suffer no scuffing damage.
