I am going to buy me another scope for my t79 project I'm working on. so I dont need a airgun rated scope.
the question is .....
what type of scope Simmons or BSA ?
what type of reticule should I get mil-dot or truplex?
the reason Im asking all of you is because I can not decide of which brand and which type. Natchez has some good sales going on.
HELP !!!!

I have always liked the Simmons better than BSA and the mill dot is much easier for me to hit what I'm aiming for.

I don't know if you've tried them out or not but if two of your concerns are "good" and "cheap" you can't beat these Tasco 3x9x32AO scopes at Optics Giant. $27.95 shipped with mounts. I bought one of these and just ordered a second one. These are just about perfect on the QB78. Also work out nice on my S1K,

I'm so happy with my first one, after my second one gets here I still plan to buy 2-3 more for some other guns that are scopeless atmo. Definately a good deal.

I agree with Dan,,,, I just purchased one of those Golden Antler scopes and am very happy with it. For $27 bucks delivered I don't see how ya can go wrong. The only 2 rifles I have that aren't scoped are the 2 $74 clearance Shadows I bought,,,, I was gonna leave them with iron sights but for $27 bucks I'm gonna order 2 more of the Golden Antlers.

I just ordered one of those Tasco scopes also, DanoInTx hooked me up with the info and for the price thats a deal. It's going on my tuned B3 .177, thanks for the info DanoInTx. :) Ed

Yep...I ordered a couple myself. Don't see how you can go wrong, especially if you are going to use them on Co2 guns. Going to put one on my wifes QB-78.

Hello,
Simmons Truplex is all you will ever need. Excellent scopes.

good deals for the $...order one (hell...order two, you'll find a use for the extra one).
Do like the scope and the rifle to kind of balance...it's a visual thing. Full sized rifle with a match type stock and a micro scope just looks "wrong". Big long scope and a thin/short lightweight rifle looks just as wrong. Am sure they serve the owners well and do everything they want a a scope to do, but it still just hurts my eyes.
Am guilty of that in testing...may slip a 6-18X on a nice trim 2260 to test it, but it ain't staying.
