I bought 2 from this fellow and was surprised that it held up to my RS2. My old one sheared the scope stop several times and this mount held on. I installed it with a gap from the scope stop and was surprised it did not moved of cripped at all.

I think you can get the same model from Deal Extreme, shipped from the states.

That one only has 3 hold down bolts.

And no stop pin !!!............

It sure does look like is a good deal. For me, I'm not sure I like the no stop pin and this one appears to have only 3 bolts http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.5509
Maybe someone out there has had one for a longer time , to see how it works out?

There is another one down a bit with 4 bolts, no "look through" holes and a hole for a stop pin. I don't think it has a pin, but just a threaded hole. Its a bit cheaper as well. But as they say you get what you pay for. If you're going super cheapo, it might be worthwhile to check out.

PS: Can't you just drill a hole and thread it to add a stop pin? Better yet, why haven't people simply bolted their bases to their guns if slippage is such a problem?

I've been waiting for the out of stock one. I'm holding off on the flashlight mount/clamp too. I just got one of the aurora p7 flashlights two weeks ago and the thing is awesome. It's like a car headlight you can put in your back pocket. Incredible.

I can attest to the Aurora P7's brightness, the Quality Control needs a little bit of work though, I have the 2x18650 version a little big for the pocket. I also got a MTE CREE MC-E that one is a single cell 18650 just as bright with even more of a flood beam. I use them for my night time bike commutes, but they also sit nicely on the end of the barrel with my handlebar mount as a tactical light.
I ordered 2 of the mounts that the OP linked, hopefully they get here in a timely manner and work well. We'll see soon enough.
