I found away to power the cross & compound slides.
I cut the bend end of a 6mm allen key put it in the battrey drill
put the key in the cap screw that holds the handles on ...pull
the drill trigger....Powered slides and what a nice finish
because of the even travel speed.

Let's see what you been making Peter! If you can get hold of a few stepper motors and the software (MACH3) then you could turn it into a CNC! I have links to a site that could help if you want!

Not a lot air gun wise...been makeing a few bits to
convert a small drill press into a mini mill.

I have seen those cnc kits
