....please. We had a good turn out last week....hopefully to improve on that. Shoot Often Shoot Safe
-
Crosman 1377, stock open sights, 3-pumps. I lost concentration on 4th target (oops!), but I had just finished shooting the 10M match pistol - my first time. I actually shot the 10M pistol pretty well off-hand (one hand) so I thought I'd try it here, too.
Only mods so far are smash trigger spring for lighter pull and polish sear. I'm trying to get my matches in early this week due to holiday weekend.

Hey All,
This is my first match. I really enjoyed every minute of it. I had no idea so much was involved...but had a blast...

Nice shooting Julie
I find that I shoot about 10 points better when concentrating for a Match target vs. just practicing. One way that I have found that has helped me, is to shoot some groups in a sitting position with forearms resting on my knees. It helped me see what the correct sight picture is. My average scores went up quite a bit after I did that. It also gave me confidence in the gun, by knowing that it could shoot tight groups if I did my part. If this is your first match, I think that we can expect some pretty amazing scores in the near future. Have fun, and welcome to this Match.
BTW, I think that someone might make a lefty grip for the IZZY ;-)

I did a point better this week, but only on my second try. Izzie is awesome. Me, just hangin' in there!
135.
PS: Julie shot hers with my very right-handed Izzie, shooting lefty. Note that her grip was 2-handed "BD". For, "birth defect". (http://../jscripts/tiny_mce/plugins/emotions/images/smiley-laughing.gif). Very scary if she ever got her own grips! I told her that her score doesn't count because the target is blue (we ran out of black ink). Please help me enforce this strict regulation.

Blue targets are HARDER for girls.....I say we give Julie 10 extra points! LOL
You'd better practice, Dave. Else Julie's gonna leave you in the dust on the pistol matches!
-
Yah she smoked me at darts already. Wimpy girl game anyway. I will have to print a pink target.
Seriously she is a real competitor with mechanical and shooting skills, a force to be reckoned with.

This is my first attempt to enter, so please correct me if I did something wrong, please verify the scoring I did.
I shoot indoors, standing, no support, 2 handed, @ 5 meters.
Tnx.

Geez, hate to see what happens after you get in practice! (http://../jscripts/tiny_mce/plugins/emotions/images/smiley-surprised.gif)

Tnx George, unfortunately my range upstairs is only 5 meters, shooting anywhere els in the house nor shooting outside is an option (http://../jscripts/tiny_mce/plugins/emotions/images/smiley-cry.gif)
