I already tried. The 800x is discontinued from the manufacturer, they do not supply 800x specific parts, like a barrel.

You can get .177 1000x barrel assemblies for $15 all day long....

Thanks, Vince.
Surprising as I didn't think they'd been selling them THAT long.
This one is BRAND NEW - guess maybe I just need to put this one back for a couple of years and sell it NIB on Gunbroker for a big profit, huh? Hehe. Or maybe buy another for spare parts..... too bad as it seems ok even though I did mainly buy it as an addition to my .22 cal Crosman collection. Once again... day late and a dollar short.

Thanks again,

Iz

Bad one from the factory? Didja mess it up? Or are you lookin' to convert a .177?

BTW - don't know how yours is, but the Quest can work real well in .22....

Nope. Gun's brand new. Got about 40 shots in it right now. Just enough to make it stop diesling. I just got this thing about airguns - got to try it and got to play. I can work wonders with CO2 and MSPs. Never messed with springers b4. I just figured with the raesonable cost of Crosman parts, if I screwed the pooch, I'd have a backup. Ah well.

I gots thousands of shots through my B19, and the barrel is as good - or better - than it was the day I bought it. Even though it's Chinese, it oughta last you just fine. Besides, it isn't too common to have ready access to replacement airgun barrels, at least at any reasonable price. Barrels for Beemans and RWS can easily run half the cost of the gun.

Just don't go "fire lapping" the barrel using valve grinding compound. Like I did on one of mine :-(

Pretty much all the other parts are interchangeable with the standard Quest 1000, so you're covered there.
