...gotta Powerline 1000SB a couple of weeks ago...first attempts to site it in were disappointing as nothing I would do could keep the scope sitting in one place more than 3 shots...so, I ordered an Accushot one piece med profile mount...it came in yesterday...mounted it all up with the scope stop pin in the last scope stop hole and went shooting today...made an initial adjustment and was tearing the center out of a 1/2"center dot target at 15yds with RWS 8.3gr SuperDomes...fired off around 50 rds and the scope stayed put and the groups remained constant...VERY HAPPY with the results...had some 9.6gr GAMO Rockets, they were grouping just as tight but an inch low and 1.5" to the right...fired about 25 of them and the groups remained constant as well...just for grins, I did the "phone book" test...same distance...the RWS's went in 3/4" and the GAMO's went about 1/4" further...everyone talks about how bad the trigger is on this gun and it is but if ya shoot it enough to get used to it, it will work just fine...the 3x9x32 Powerline scope worked ok BUT I could not dial up the power at 15yds and get it to focus...screwed the eyepiece all the way in to all the way out and it just would not focus...had to be out to about 35 yds to get it to focus...was able to hold groups to under 1" at that distance wit the RWS SDs...to say I am happy with this 'rough" 80 dollar rifle/scope combo is a gross understatement......

..yeah, I have downloaded the tuneup and trigger guide from Russ Sauer's site and after looking at the TunaMans site, I will build a spring compressor(when I get a round tuit)...not too sure if I wanna mess with the trigger...no matter how bad it is, I figure a good shootist oughtta be able to deal with a messy trigger...I would like to say thanks to all here, I have learned a lot in the couple of weeks(orso) I have been around...and my wife(aka the poor girl) sez "thanks alot" for getting me hooked onto a new obsession(http://../jscripts/tiny_mce/plugins/emotions/images/smiley-laughing.gif)...I gotta cure for her objections though...a QB78 all her own...cut the stock down an inch(she's a little fart) and since it's a CO2 gun, she won't havvta worry about "cocking" a springer...if she takes to it like I think she will, I see much more air gunning in our future(http://../jscripts/tiny_mce/plugins/emotions/images/smiley-wink.gif)

Well if your gonna get into that that gun and you already downloaded the tuning guide the trigger job is not that difficult and is well worth the effort. On my gun I made a new spring guide and buttoned the piston as well as filling the stock and following the tune guide. It is a great gun now with about 75 bucks wrapped up into it and some time/beer.Good luck-Have fun.
