Whats the rules about leaving a co2 cartridge in the gun? If one is installed is it best interest to use it up in one session? TIA

I keep my AG gassed up ready to shoot(2250 & QB78d). If I expect not to shoot it over a month++ i leave it gassed up on the low end or when it start to shoot low, good for the seals.

I Leave the CO2 cartridge in my Crosman 1077 all the time. Doesn't seem to leak at all or cause a problem.

I've only had two CO2 guns - both used and both had stuck cartridges.  One, an almost cherry Crosman 622 I had to take completely apart to get it out.  Might be preaching to the choir, but I always put a little drop of gun oil on the cartridge tip just to keep that from happening.
