: AR1000 Variant Trigger
: Traolach May 09, 2009, 02:58:11 AM
Got back a Hammerli Titan that I lent to a friend's son.  Among other things, the trigger seems pretty rough - much rougher than I think I remember before the kid got the gun.  Like all AR1000 variants, the Titan has an adjustable trigger - 2 small screws and 1 large. Could anyone please help me and tell me what the screws are for and which way you turn them and for what?  I think I once knew but have forgotten. Please excuse my memory problems - I will probably be asking more questions in the future.

I am very grateful for all the wonderful people here on this forum - an inestimateable wealth of knowledge and friendship.  I very much enjoyed this forum last year and look forward to enjoying it again now that I'm back. Thank You!

This link will give you the information you need. If you need a new trigger they are available from Compasseco for $25 plus s/h.

My Titan's trigger is great!  I'm guessing that it just needs some cleaning / lubing..  Bill, will a GRT111 fit in there?

No it wont fit. If you follow the link I posted earlier it has some good info on cleaning it up.

yeah I saved that from a while ago (probably from you assisting someone else)..  Just have to take over the kitchen table for a while..  I'd like to do as much as I can to it while apart (the rifle).  Any kind of alternative for "tar" for the spring?

None that I know of. I take that back I have heard of a guy on here using Fifth wheel lube that they use on trucks. I used Maccari's stuff in mine. Did you make a tool to get around the trigger to compress the spring to get the pins out that hold the trigger?
