Something!? Truth is, I don't know what I want next :-). But I do know what I DON'T want. NO MORE MAGNUM SPRINGERS, and no pistols. I think I want a high powered .22 cal. hunter, but that means PCP and I don't have much extra to sweeten the pot. Maybe one of the older Korean canons? But I'm undecided enough at the moment that I will consider just about anything except the above, as long as it's an airgun. So what do you have?
Rifle is a very nice 48 in the no longer made .20 cal. There are a couple of chips in the finish on the stock, pressure damage maybe? There are no marks in the wood underneath, so I don't really know what happened. Metal is excellent, and it shoots very well if you can handle it (I can't!). It will come with the Leapers UTG Lockdown drooper mount, you'll be on your own for rings. This is a nice solid mount, but it's too damn high for me, maybe it will work out better for someone else. I'm not posting a pic because A) I haven't taken any and B) it looks just like every other 48 out there :-). At the moment I'm much more interested in trading than selling, but if I don't get any interesting offers, I'll either pull the ad or come up with a price. Thanks, everyone!

I must admit that I still occasionally long for the resounding thump of the Di 48 / .20 I traded to JQ for a really nice fly rod. But I see that you have ultimately come to the same conclusion that I did. No matter how well tuned and tweaked, a super magnum springers, even in .20 cal, is a different kind of beast. It took me a while to turn loose of the $ for a top end PCP, but the AA S410 ERB makes me smile and gives me a warm feeling every time I shoot it. By far, it is both the the most powerful and most accurate air rifle I own. Go for it , Dave!

I feel Dave's pain. My Model 54 is a beast in .22 and does well for doing curls in the morning. I might be going PCP next as well and looking to sell or trade in the future. Go for it Dave!

I have that same rifle in .20 and I will confess that I love it! I haven't been able to shoot it as much as I would like. But for springer-hunting types of dudes, this is a very nice combination of quality and power that needs a good scope and a good selection of furry little targets. If you happen to have a place to rest it, and a 60 yd. field of view infested with ground squirrels, as an example, there is no finer medicine than a .20 RWS48.

Or are you all just so busy with your new Marauders that you can't be bothered :-)? If it helps, I think I have an old Bushnell Sportview non-AO I can throw in with it. Later.

Give it time. That's a really nice gun. Just that swaps don't always go as quickly as sales. Maybe you could be more specific in what you would like?

Hi Dave ,
I have a B 26-2 .22cal. w/Centerpoint 3-9X50 AO/IR scope....would you be interested......Bill

Dave, look closely at the Blizzard .22.. 45 plus FPE and I saw Joe Cuz standing and shooting daisies off the stem at 40 yards with his. I was very impressed and so were a couple other guys...:) I love my AA S200TA Dave and thank for the opurtunity you gave me to hold and touch yours...:)

I know, RF, but patience has never been my strong suit :-). And I'd love to be more specific, but I truly don't know what I want next. Or rather, I don't know what I want that would be a fair trade for this rifle. Although I could up the ante a little bit, it still leaves me short for to get into another decent PCP. A Disco is a little light on the power I'd like, maybe a B51 or another Talon, or one of the Korean hammers will pop up. Otherwise, a medium powered springer like the R9 or BSA Lightning would probably be my best bet. And pretty much everything I mentioned will probably need some extra cash. Gee, I guess I got kind of specific after all ;-). Later.

Thanks, Bill, but I don't think so. I'm not a big fan of .22 springers, and besides, a new 26-2 is around $160. Priced a 48 lately :-)? Later.

A Blizzard would be perfect, Gene, but it's way out of my price range. The 48 might make half the cost, no way I can come up with the rest. Someone just sold an AR 6 on the YF for about $300, I was hoping something like that would pop up, or maybe one of the lever action Korean guns, although I don't much like the looks of them for some reason :-). But I suppose Redfeather is right, I just need to be patient, damn it! Of course, I could always keep it and detune it a bit. Later.

If it falls thru I am interested.
