I needed some inserts that could not be bought .So I started to make the sizes that I think will work for me . I found a place that sells the round disc for 30 cents a piece . Then I have to drill a hole and turn them down with a file and polish them out . They are local for me and deal in plastic only so here is their site if you can use any of their products as well .Marvin

Call me an Idiot but I can't really see how it works, just a guess. Do you have a pic of this set-up in operation/action.
I think Dremel should make a small lathe to use with their new XPR 400 motor. I just got one and it has power you wouldn't believe, compared to all the rest. Is that a bit holder on top of the vertical rod or part of the works?
The XPR 400 is the only Dremel-Type over 1.5 amps, it runs at 2 amps and you cannot stop the spindle with your fingers at even low speed. Something I kinda miss. For those really precision light cuts; I used to slow down my old one with my thumb and finger, just in case I missed my mark. Please excuse my ignorance.
I got mine [Dremel XPR 400] for our '12th Year Wedding Anniversary', and I love it.
Very, Very Nice work Melloroadman!

Roy on this link right under the picture click on see this in action . First I use it as a drill press to drill the center hole . Then I turn it 90 degrees as you see it . Install a small machine screw and nut through the disc . Next I chuck the screw up in the dremenl and let it spin while I hold a file on the disc .Iif you still need a picture let me know and later this week when I make some more I will include them . This link is slow in loading . Marvin

The round disc that I bought had a slight distortion in them that would be a problem for hunting . So I bought a 1 foot square of their acrylite plus clear 1/8 thick that cost $6.90 that they cut into 1 inch squares at no cost . That's over a hundred squares so it is still a inexpensive way to go .Marvin

Thanks melloroadman, sorry for taking soOO long to respond, but I haven't been too well lately and we just got through with H.S. Graduation (HEII) week with my Daughter and I just haven't got back into the swing of things.
Dremel's Accessories page is not loading for me but I understand what you did now. Can't believe I couldn't see it before...lol
Great Idea! That is the Dremel XPR 400 there in your pic, is it not?
