Well... I built my 2240. Had some fun with it and now I think I may wanna get rid of it. Here's a list of mods:
- RJ Machine left handed long breach
- RJ Machine Probed bolt & oversized SS handle
- 13 inch barrel. THe muzzle was recrowned and the breach chamfered for easier loading.
- Fully click adjustable green fiber optic rear sight. Orange fiber otic front sight epoxied to the original 2240 sight shroud.
- Trigger surfaces polished & lubed.
- Lighter trigger spring. Pull is about 1Lb
I remember shooting it over the chrony a few times and getting upper 500's to low 600's with a full charge. But that was during winter in my 59 degree garage.
I'm looking to trade for a QB78 in .22 with all the valve work done.
OR a Lube Tuned TF-59 .22
OR a MM lube tuned TF-89 (B26) in .22 (good luck on that one eh? LoL)
Well... Here are some pictures!

And here's a 20 shot group from 14 yards rested on my knee.

Are the orginal parts for the pistol available with the sale? What do figure you have to have out of the pistol---outright cash?
-
Nope... All the parts were used in other projects.
Cash wise... $130 would do it.
