I just ordered a new barrel a 22 cal for a B-19 ( quest 800 ) to put on either my Remington or my Quest both are B-19 and from checking the sizes it looks as if the barrels are the same so My think was if I get a new barrel from Crosman I can change one of my rifles to a 22 cal the barrel hasn't got here yet but it will be something to try , What rifle do you think I should put the barrel on? It's only about $16.00 for a new barrel and 4 bucks for shipping ain't Crosman great. Howie

howie1a, I had exactly the same thoughts regarding the .22 barrel swap on the Crosmans' . If it works for you I sure will try it. I don't see why it would not work.
The only problem may be removing the barrel that is on the AG right now, unless you have already done so. Just to make sure I understand you correctly, the AG has the .177 barrel installed and you want to replace with a .22 cal barrel? Correct?

If you look at the crosman parts page you will see it comes with the breach block as part of the barrell assemb. I am thinking all you will have to do is take the bolt out that holds the barrel on the rifle and swap them out you might have to put on the sights and detent lock up assemb. too. i will know better when my barrel gets here I did order it with a front and rear sight the total came to about 16 bucks with shipping. howie

Howie,
Is there a trick to finding the Crosman Parts page? I can't find it on their website.
Also, do you think this barrel would fit the G1 extreme also (same gun??)
Thanks,
Mike

This from crosman site under manuals and you can call out the part number to the lady from crosman.

Howard, I have been doing some cross-referencing of the Crosman models recently. Mainly comparing the parts and for at least 8 different models the parts are the same part #s. About the only thing I can see different is part #s for the different stock configurations and barrel styles. However, they all use the same compression tube and since everything fastens to the compression tube a change to a different barrel or stock should bolt right up.
I just ordered some spare parts from Crosman 6/10 and was told delivery in 7 to 10 days. I am really curious how this idea of yours turns out. I have basically decided to stick with Crosman because of the parts availabily and price. And thier customer service was pretty good on the phone on 6/10. I want to see how well the fill the order before I get to happy.
My vote is for you to try it on the Crosman first.
Bogey.

We have a link to crosman on our library page it's very easy to get to the parts pages from their . howie PS from what I see is that all crosman spring rifles are B-19's cloned from the Gamo 220 and they bought the rights to the B-19 from the China and they are made for only crosman at least that is how I have been told. Also I've bought from crosman before and their service was excellent the other rifle Co. could learn from them.

Thanks Howie, I'll check it out.

Howie/All,
Is the Remington Summit also a b19/Crosman? If so then I'm definitely doing the chop to my .177 as I then have a $16 fallback to another barrel.

P.S. Lovin' the B26!
