Hey, I'm looking for a leather sling for my Discovery, that would loop around the barrel and the stock. I know that Straightshooters is selling one, but I'm just looking for more options.

Any help would be appreciated,

Al,

I just picked up a universal rifle sling (http://possibleshop.com/p-g-rifle-sling.html) used by folks who don't want to put sling swivels on their primitive styled muzzleloaders.  It was wayyyy too long initially, but I just rolled a loop in it and it now fits my R7 perfectly.  It uses a 2 inch wide jute strap with a leather tie on the barrel end and two loops that cradle the butt of your rifle.  I like that I can slip it off of the R7 and on to any of my other guns in just a minute or less.

I haven't had the chance to do any hunting with it, but it appears to hold up well around the house, so far.

Straight shooters has a real nice sling.....check them out.
