I have a Cummins Tools B-3 and it shoots well. One problem I have is the rear sight has a pin going through it that is loose fitting. It looks like it should be peened on the ends.
Has anyone else had this pin come loose and if so, aside from changing sights, how did you remedy it?

I have used a panneling nail, trimmed to fit to replace the pin. The little ridges on the nail seem to hold it in place better.

I think most of the B3 owner's pull the sight's and lock a scope on since the sight's on the B3 are not of the highest quality, I have a tray full of em. :0 Ed

I hear alot of horror stories about scopes on springers. Does the vibration cause the problems? Any suggestions on which ones work well? I have an old Tasco hanging around.

The Tasco will work, all my B's have the cheap POWERLINE 3-9X32 on them and have held up great. Also all my B's are tuned so that removes most of the B's little kicks and bucks. :) Ed
