: Hey Guys and Gals. Paul Capello Needs Our Support
: Gene_SC June 20, 2009, 02:06:01 AM

I sent Paul an email yesterday and got back a very nice response. We all need to tune into the show on Sportsman Channel, July 19th 2009.

They need our support and also a friendly email would be great. Guys like Paul help make our sport/hobby stand up and shine. Plus the more people see the more they will want to buy a new air rifle..:) And join the fun..

Paul's Email address: paul@americanairgunner.com (paul@americanairgunner.com)

Give him a shout.

I'm eagerly awaiting the shows release.  I spoke to Paul awhile back and he was telling me all about the show.  As we spoke you could hear the excitement and enthusiasm in his voice as he spoke about the plans they had for the show and some of the ideas for upcoming episodes.  It was very easy to tell how dedicated he was to making the show a success.  They couldn't have picked a better host,,, Paul is a dyed in the wool airgun addict and there's nothing better than having someone with his love of the sport hosting the show.  He's also a really nice guy :)  I have no doubt his new show will be a success.

It was funny, as we spoke we realized his place upstate is actually 5 minutes down the road from my place.  Paul was telling me his property didn't have many rabbits to hunt but I told him my place was over run with them.  I told him we'd have to hook up and shoot some bunnies and he was welcome anytime to go wade through the berry thickets on my property and harass the bunny population....  :)

Another reason why Comcast drives me crazy.  We don't get that channel here!  If it's available online, I'll definitely watch it.  I'll also be sure to click on some of the sponsors, too.

Bummer it's NOT available to me in NY. Somebody tape it for me?
To find out if it's available to you go to "http://www.thesportsmanchannel.com/" and punch in your zip code.
It will tell you which cable or satellite provider has it and what channel it is.
I couldn't find the dates because I can't get it... :(

I still e-mailed him some support...I like his Pyramid videos.

: Time Warner Cable doesn't have it!!
: only1harry June 29, 2009, 08:27:54 AM
This sucks..  Most of the lower NY state (where the majority of the NY population is - like 15 Million people) has Time Warner cable.  Their web site says it's not available, only on DirectTV.
I sent the e-mail to the Cable provider to consider including the Sportsmanchannel.  I doubt anything will happen any time soon.

Well, I'll have to rely on one of you guys to tell me all about the show since I don't get the channel,,, what a bummer  :(

I thought I got the channel but when I checked my bubble burst big time  :(

Oh well, I wish Paul luck and hope the show is a hit.....

I live in the 'Sportsman Paradise' State and the only place to get it is Direct TV (which I think sucks and is why I went back to cable)

Letter sent from the web sight to Cox Cable. I'll probably end up subscribing to channels like WE, The All Woman Network, The Romance Channel, The Men Suck Channel, and all them other women channels that interfere with being a man just so I can get the ONE channel I want.

TIVO comes to mind. That way I can watch it at 0400 while drinking coffee and passing gas.

I got directv & had it for years, i got the premium package which includes the sports package & I also pay extra for anything that's not available in their package plans & there is no channel 605, do you know what station it is?
: Re: Hey Guys and Gals. Paul Capello Needs Our Support
: Bentong June 29, 2009, 09:43:27 AM
If you got DIRECTV just punch in 605. I don't know why it's not on the slide guide. They're showing again>>

Leo, That's funny, I just punched in 605 & the channel comes in,right now on 605 is Team Fitzgerald TV!  When I go through the guide there is no 605, that's a bit strange! Thanks for the heads-up!

Show was 30 minutes spot. Started with "This is not you Father's BB Gun". Very informational, PyramidAir, Air force AG, Crosman, Umarex & Gamo ocuppied 20 minutes of the show. The remaining time was covered by Paul & Tom Gaylord on talks inside Air Force factory on various AG we see @ PA. THey have a cool 5K/min airsoft repeater that annihilated a poor juicy watermellon and put a hole on a cinder block, pretty amazing with using regular airsoft ammo. NRA talked about supporting 4H club. Show will be replyed again and was posted on my previous uptake. I wish the next one will cover new product, tricks/tips & shooting matches and knowing... sponsors will keep it staying on the airwave but would like to see it occupy less than 50% of the episode. :emoticon:

i for one would be glad to donate a fee towards the the boards operating expenses for the priveledge of viewing these episodes !!!!!!!!!!!

A lot of us are missing out. Can someone record these and burn a CD for us deprived souls?
: Can the show be watched on line somewhere?
: only1harry June 30, 2009, 10:27:45 AM
Could the Sportsmanchannel put the show up on their web site?  In low res, 30min should not be a big deal, unless they don't have the Internet bandwidth for a few concurrent video streaming sessions, but I would think their web page is hosted by a company with much available bandwidth.  They can do 160KB/s video streaming instead of 300KB/s.

Paul,
Any inside info on Air Force selling a .25cal Talon/Condor in the near future, larger calibers like 9mm, .308, etc, or regulated tanks from the factory?
