Gamo Big Cat 1200 3-9x40 scope set on 4x,, CPHP.... Did some crown work,, guess it helped a little got 45... Serverly pulled the one shot

Trying again this week to get a few off thie list before the weekend.

First match with the HW97. This thing is a whole different beast than my trusty TSS (especially when the TSS is on CO2). My first ever springer and really the first adult springer I've ever fired.
After putting about a tin and a half though her since Friday I've learned a bit about how to hold it, how to 'ignore' the recoil (almost) and found the feed (of my current selection) she likes best.

My first entry in the "Steroid" match.  Tough enough to be a challenge without taking all the fun out of it.

I like the way the 953 shoots, even with the rough trigger.  It's not bad now, but if it doesn't get better in a couple of weeks, I might take some sandpaper to the sear.  In any event, it's a lot better than my Crosman 1077 with the double action trigger.

Yikes, that was HARD! (and fun!) I looked at the fliers and I would have rec'd a few more 7s and a 6 on the Gamo target. Well, gotta start somewhere!
