We all know what an upstanding guy Mike is so this will be no surprise. I bought a used RWS 34 in .22 cal got it home and something didn't feel right. I tore it down found the spring broken in 2 places, the spring guide broken and the rear thrust washer mangled. I was going to send it to my buddy Gene but he was out of comission. Being the person that I am I ordered the parts and tried it myself. Well it. Turned out good for a couple shoots. I asked Mike if he would take a look at it. Sent it to Mike on Wed he got it on Friday and I got it back yesterday with new lube tophat and a straightend barrel. Mike gave me the total and I didn't feel it was enough because I know what it cost to mail it out there and its the same coming back. Your are an upstanding gentalman Mr. Melick and I thank you for your time spent repairing my gun. Now to spend some time leading in the barrel then I'll mount the scope and decide if I like this one or not. You may see an RWS34 w/TO1 trigger in the classifieds within the next month or so!!!!!

Jason, It is good of you to Post your Positive experiences with another GTA member who happens to have a business, or offer a service.

I've bought 4-5 guns from Mike and some parts. Mike has been nothing but professional in every dealing. I would expect nothing less from a fellow Squid!!!!! Keep up the great work and customer service Mike. Shadow you are 100% correct.

Yep, he's a stand up guy. He's one of the good guys in the world of airgun service. I bought a tuned B-25 kit (rifle, scope, mounts) from him a while back. The scope mounts that Xisico put in the kit were terrible quality and way too low to mount the scope. So, about a week later, Mike sent me much higher quality rings at no cost to me. Great guy.

Mike is certainly a great member and a fine gentleman !
He has help me out, and many others here ! I look forward to doing business with him, as I know that there are very few better and more honest than he is. And I say that only because there may bea fewas honest as Mike out there, like Bob and Gene ! Great Men that I am happy to call my friends !!!!!
And that's not mentioning all the information that he has freely given our members on this forum !

Mike Melick is truly a classy respectable gentleman & amazingly excellent with his knowledge of servicing any airguns, although his work at times may need more attention then pvevious jobs performed on the same type of gun,,Mike prices always remain true to his person, HONEST, TRUSTWORTHY & Just a GOOD OLE SWEET GENTLEMAN!!! :)
BTW...I think I got a gun that I might send to Mr. Melick for a bit of tweaking,,,,no it's not a QB!! :D

A little well deserved recognition is good for the psyche. So sit back and let your friends show their appreciation. In my case, I purchased a B-26 and had some problems with it, some of which are my fault. Others would not be as understanding but already Mike has sent me a new stock at his expense. Some more problems, so he said to sent the rifle back and he will either repair or replace it. So more time and money spent to get me a well functioning gun. In all likelihood, Mike will seriously erase some or most of the profit he made on the gun in the first place. I think anybody that interested in his customer's satisfaction deserves some public tribute. Thanks Mike for being so conscientious and going that extra mile for your customers and friends. Terry

Hey, I bought a B-26 from him and he personally delivered it free within a couple of miles of my house, tuning and polishing the stock for the base price. He has obviously been overcharging you guys.
IIRC, I did buy him some enchiladas...
Clearly Mike is not in this hobby to get rich. He does good work, and he deserves a lot of appreciation. Many of us here are in the MM fan club.
Tried to get him to come to the NTAGM shoot, he went to China instead. That's about as adverse as I can go. Wait, his website is not nearly as nice as Pyramyd's. Get with it, Mike!

What do I think about Mike,..."Mike's a Stand-up fella" plain and simple. I've dealt with Mike on many topics on many occasions, and it has always a pleasure. To have a gentleman like Mike in the AirGun community,... We should all be very thankful to have such an individual amongst our ranks!!! I know I am, Thomas

Hey now, no bad talking the mans website Jerry, it isn't his fault he has a lazy webmaster down here in Fort Worth....haha!!! *shrugs* I thought it looked pretty nice when I made it....now off I go to go cry in the corner, I hope you're happy Jerry!!!! Haha!!!!
Mike is awesome and has helped me out many times. Hard to buy a tuned gun for about the same price as everyone else sells them for without even looking in the box before shipping, try to get Pyramid to tune your gun for practically free before they ship it, good luck!
p.s. I need to make it over your way and visit with you and David Enoch one of these weekends, it's just so darned hot now.

I forgot about disparaging your web work. Sorry. You could write a blog and fill it with interesting airgun stories daily. And Mike could have buy one get one free pellets, shipped same day. ;-)
Hey if you wait till it gets cool here, it will be about September, Dano. And we may never get Mike to come back down here. It was only 102 at my house today. How about Saturday? I have a nice misting fan.

Ouch, 102F!!! I'm lucky I work in an air conditioned shop, but I look at those guys around town building houses or worse yet...replacing roofs, yikes!!! I'm going to Kansas on Thursday and wont be back till late Friday night, wife will most likely need something done on the weekend:( Might be able to swing it next, next weekend though, but after that I'll be in Kansas for about 6 weeks straight minus weekends! You going to Ron's on the 18th of July? I'm going to try to make it, but again it depends on how much I'm home and what needs to get done while I'm home. It's hell travelling for work, but now that I don't have an assistant and I work alone all day it's kinda nice to be in the lab in Kansas where I have people to talk to:) Hey I know, Kansas isn't far from Iowa, I xould drive to Burt and hi-jack Mike and drag him down here for a shootout...haha!!!
