I have just purchased a Gamo Big Cat 1200. I also purchased the elusive GRT-III trigger. I have installed it with no problems. The problem I have is, I have a little U-shaped piece that I don't know where it goes. In the instructions it says "Be aware of the small plastic glide (u-shaped) in the forward notch under the cocking linkage." I have been trying to get in touch with CharliedaTuna for several days now with no response. Does anyone happen to have a picture or can get a pictures of where this goes?

Greg, I think the part you're asking about is the linkage bearing,...Keeps the linkage from rubbing against the compression tube (metal to metal). There should be a notch in the linkage arm on the copmression chamber side (when closed). Simply place the part in the notch and you should be good to go. The flat side of the "U" part goes against the compression tube. Hope this helps! Good luck, tjk

The U-shape piece is actually double U-shaped. Looks like 2 U's back to back.

Can you post a picture of the component?!? tjk

Not too long ago I've taken apart 3 Gamos to Heavy Tar their springs........and there's a little black plastic piece that fits in-between the trigger assembly and the bolt that holds it down. That piece is similar to what you're describing....both sides are U shaped, the more circular side is the side that faces the bolt. There should be a gap between that piece and the bolt so you can slip the receiver in line with the stock. Hope this helps.

That's where it was, but the instructions just threw me off looking for another place for it. I didn't know if it just fell into that place some how. I will give it another look this afternoon.

When I took the stock off my first Gamo, that little black piece fell out. I didn't know where it came from. I had to carefully take another Gamo stock off to make sure I didn't jolt anything loose.....after scrutinizing the receiver and all the little parts.....I found out where that little black plastic piece is supposed to go....and everything was fine.
