The crosman plastic stock simply isn't up to par for the DAQ
I found this piece of old Walnut, it had been cut about 65 years ago so it is dry.
It was light until I oiled it and then the color simply popped.
So do you think it has potential?

Thanks for your kind words. I have learnt a lot from this one, and had a lot of fun while doing it.
I guess that I will have way over 100 hours in it by the time It is done.
I am ready to start finish sanding and oiling it. Then I need a but plate.
