Hi..After 6 mouths of playing around trying to
get 1000fps from a cheapo Snowpeak B11 .22
I put it back togeather for the 100th time....
Shot 20 pellets though it and took it out to the
range to use the clubs crony...
It was shooting between 949 to 962fps...
Some of the mods are...
a full length one peice guide system thats slide
inside the compression chamber exstention tube.
And moveing the sear latching point on the piston
foward 9mm witch increassed the swept volume
of the piston by around 7 %... more air for the piston to push...
Then I changed the shape of the transfer port so it
it simular to a venturi so the air will speed up as it travels
though the port ..7mm inlet and a 3.5mm out let with the tapper
16mm long....

OK if you want the 1000 fps, you already have the record for the fastest B-11 on the planet...do the Delrin pellet trick, turn some delrin down to about .178, drill the back out to make a cup for the air and give them a try....should be in the 1700 to 2000 fps range...wear ear plugs she will crack...
-
you guys are nuts and i love it! delrin pellets wow.
-
If one things for sure...I will be giveing that one a try
gee thanks mike..as if I haven't got enogh ideas of me own...
as you said but with one mod...drill a small indent in the front to glue a
.177 steel BB in....starlings beware :p

A delrin pellet with a BB in the nose?
Sounds like something from Gamo's R&D folks! Ballistic tipped pellet that doubles the velocity over standard pellets! Probably kill two pigs with one shot! :D

You guys are truly nuts, but I love it. lol.
