Hey all, I have been trying to find a pellet that will shoot good  out of the TF-89. I have not found what will shoot consistent groups. Maybe it is not broke in yet. I have shot about 300 pellets through it. Have tried a lot of different ammo, and they all seem to be inconsistent. I have tried a lot of different holds and I always end up with a few shots straying way out. The other night I was shooting and the same old thing. I got disgusted and decided to try some gamo raptors that I had bought, then found out that   there we're people saying that those would tear up a gun. I decided to try a few any way. Though they do break the barrier, I could not bellieve it, at 20 yds. they were almost going ih the same hole. I shot 6 rounds and could not believe it. My question is: is there a pellet similar to it that will do this without damaging the gun? Thanks. Joe.

You might want to try the Gamo Pro Magnum pellet's. They are similar in shape at 7.9grain. Ed

My .22 TF-89 loves JSB 15 gr  pellets.   Have you tried some JSB's  ??

Mine really liked the Air Arms Pellets. Pyramyd sells them.

No, I have not tried the JSB's but I will. Thanks for the help.

Thanks, I will try those also. I have the Air Arms TX 200 and it shoots the crosman premiers really great. I'll give Air Arms pellets a try. Why would the TF-89 shoot those light pellets so well? It's got me stumped. Joe.

My Beeman SS1000 clone is the one that likes Crosman hollow points (the Walmarty kind). Go figger but I am happy that one of them likes the cheap snacks.

Wonder who makes the Air Arms Pellets. Have never tried them, maybe will include them with my next pellet order... Frank

Mine will shoot RWS Suoerpoint .22 through the same hole. It actually does well with Crossman premeirs RWS Super Hollow Points and Pedators. It will not shoot Beeman Silver Arrows. They go everywhere.

Frank, I just ordered some of the air arms pellets from http://www.napieruk.com. Once you're on their web site, then you will have to go to their site in the USA. Hope this helps. Joe.

Are Air Arms made by Napier?  That is all I could find on their site...Frank

Frank , all I can tell you is that Napier does not make Air Arms. Air Arms uses Napier pellets in there testing an reccomends them. They are called Power Pellets. They are lubricated and claim to be more accurate than most pellets. Just get on their site and read about them. I thought they would be worth a try. Take care. Joe.

Thanks Joe,  I have used them sometime back. At the time they were not too available. Think I purchased  them from Cheaper Than Dirt. As I remember they were ok. Think I quit using them because it was not worth ordering for just them. May try again...  Frank

I know what you mean. Shipping cost as much as the pellets. Take care. Joe.
