hello everyone, I just got a jack haley pcp airgun, it doesnt have a pressure gauge on the tube i have a fx pump i use to fill it, when im about to re-fill after it ake all my shots, lets say theres still 800 psi left int he tube, and i fill it to the 1,600 psi mark on my pump, would i be filling the gun up another 1,600 psi? so i would end up with 2,400 psi int he tube, or would i just fill it to 1,600 psi? Thanks

The gauge on the pump is showing you what's in the gun. If the gun had 800 psi in it to start & then you pumped up to 1600, the gun has 1600 psi in it.

okay, so all i have to do is pump to 1,600 psi and there will be 1,600 psi in the gun?

When the fill adaptor is properly inserted in the air rifle, the system is closed and the pressure is equal. If the pump pressure goes up, the air flows into the reservoir, and the pressure immediately equalizes, as you pump.
Be sure to bleed the pressure from the fill hose with the bleed valve before you pull the fill adaptor from the gun, else you may blow a seal on the fill adaptor.
