What do ya'll think of this, it seems like someone may have been in here before or injected grease? I am not done with the tune yet... so thought I might get others opinions to see if this is normal for gamo shadow extreme. My intent is cylinder hone, maccari spring seal, de burr etc.... :) I am attempting my first full tune on this gun because it has been so inaccuate I figure nothing to lose and lots to gain including making a spring compressor! What a mess. I think your right, someone with the more is better theory and a unlimited supply of black grease got to your gun. I picked up a Gamo 220 a week or two ago off the clearance rack at Cabelas and the insides were nothing like that. The spring had a medium light coat of what looked like auto chassie lube on it and there was a light coat of oil all over the trigger assembly with a dab of the grease on the sear. all in all looked pretty good inside except the lubes were not what you would use for a good tune. Best fill that solvent tank up and go for it.
