I thought that 3/16" steel would be OK, but evidently it is not.
475gr HP at 731fps did a number on it.

Wow....hell, and just to think that PA won't let us use something like that on squirrels even... :0(http://../jscripts/tiny_mce/plugins/emotions/images/smiley-yell.gif) maybe you should go for the 7/8 inch steel...that might last a couple more shots. :D :p
