: A view from the ledge...

" The true trophy hunter is a self- disciplined perfectionist seeking a single animal, the ancient patriarch well past his prime that is often an outcast from his own kind... If successful, he will enshrine the trophy in a place of honor. This is a more noble and fitting end then dying on some lost and lonely ledge where the scavengers will pick his bones, and his magnifiicent horns will weather away and be lost forever.Ed

Sounds good, what if I pick those dead birds up from my driveway and toss 'em over the fence for my dogs.  My dogs deserve a good meal, is that cool?

hehe, just playin' wit ya Ed,

You truly do have the "hunters spirit" Ed, I commend you.

Makes me wanna get out and bag a trophy rabbit or tree rat.   Only problem is I'm layed up right now with a little herniated spinal disc problem, so if you head out into the wilderness bag a bunny for me :)

Thanks Ed,,,, I'm on the mend it's just gonna take some time stayin inside and relaxing.  I got injured at work back in 1988 and I've been dealing with this ever since.  Most of the time it's bearable but every once in a while, like now, the discs act up and I'm flat on my back until everything settles down again.  I always tell myself it could be worse.

Well, good luck on tomorrow hunt.  Hope ya bag the big bunnie :)

Jeff
