: Cabela's brand pellets

I recently sent an email to Cabela's about their brand of pellets.  Their .22 Outfitter brand shoots as well as Beeman FTS out of my Discovery.  The Cabela's Outfitters are $9.99 for a 500 package. Beeman FTS are $9.10 for 200.  I haven't tried Cabela's Outfitters pellets in .177, but I will be.

Dear Sir or Ms, Who manufactures the Cabela's brand pellets for pellet guns? ...

Greetings Jerome,

Thank you for contacting Cabela's Product Information Department.

Unfortunately, I cannot disclose that information as it is a private label vendor but I can tell you that they are made in the U.S. and lead match grade pellets.

Thank you for inquiry.
Sincerely,

Tim D.

I bought a tin of the 22 cal Cabala's pellets and was very disappointed. They shot so poor in my Mendoza that I gave the remainder of the tin to my buddy. They didn't shoot much better for my friend. I found the size to be very inconstant as some would require slight pressure to push them in and some would fall about 1/2 cm down the barrel. I will never buy anymore.
