I have an old 1970's version of the Sheridan Blue Streak. It is in pretty rough condition to be honest since I had it as a small child. I broke the rear sight off of it and have been using it with a scope recently. It is still pretty accurate to my surprise but you can't use modern mounts on it and eye relief is a huge problem.
Anyway, a couple of years ago, I ordered a peep sight for it. The newer ones won't fit it as they are mounted on the wrong side. Any thoughts on where I could get one that will work with the original mounting holes?

That might work. I have a sight that fits the other side. I may just have a friend that owns a machine shop just drill and tap the screws to fit the other side. I'll have to find the silly sight as I may have thrown it away :(

Older guns were not drilled for peeps unless you ordered it from the factory. I don't think they came standard with the holes until the 80s or 90s.
If you can't find the Williams sight you might try using a pistol scope mounted forward on the barrel in the scout position. Beats trying to use a regular scope.
