Too lazy to put my scope on again this week, and I took 5 shots at 4 bulls.  Guess I'm deep into 25yd open sights mode.  Not my best either, but eh, as an illustration teacher once told me, "Not everything can be a masterpiece."  Plus it's raining now and will continue to rain all weekend so this is it.

Wow....our 30th match already!!!!

Had abit of accuracy problem over the last weekend plinking session.....turned out to be a dirty barrel. After cleaning that and re-zeroing....I used CPHPs....so I switched from Crosman Hunt to Hollow Pt. pellets for this match.

Rifle: Gamo Big Cat, Sights: Gamo 3X9-40mm 6X, Pellet: .177 Crosman Premier Hollow Points, Distance: 10 Meters,

Position: Stand/Off-Hand, Temp: +27C, Sun, No wind, SCORE: 158/200

Tough one to score. Used Domed pellets and had a less than clean duct seal trap ( I put paper right on the duct seal)
I stuck with the conservative side of the scoring. Still very happy with the 2400. These shots,  with wads,  on a cleaner target, I think, would have earned me a couple more points.

I've also noticed that as I aaproach the point where power drops off (noticable after about 15-18 shots) the rifle is much more consisitent until it reaches the point where POI starts to drop off for lack of pressure. That's around 25-28 shots. My illustration is the 5th target (at thst point I was aiming at the ring between the 9 and dot)!!!
