i got the tune completed today and spent the evening sighting in and testing. I can't say enough about how well this shoots. and the icing on the cake is that Gold Trigger. Thx Charlie.

Good job done. I will tackle a tune job as soon as I get the things I need and the gut's to give it a try.
Did everything go Fairlie easy for you? I bet you learned a lot ? Hope you have a tack driver!!

Looks great and glad to see another ham on here, do you happen to have pics or helpful hints on doing the tune I have never done one and also have a BC that I would love to tune.
I already have the GRT-III installed what a difference.

take your time and do it right, no short cuts or you'll waste your money and time. i got my spring, seal and lubes from Jame Macari and the trigger from charlie. Be careful to not over lube this is very important. Also be careful when you put the piston back in the chamber. go slow as this is the most vulnerable your new seal will be until it is past all the stamped areas. i put just a enough lube on the seal so that it would make it past all the stamped areas and not have too much in the compression cylinder. other than that have fun!

Congratulations Cris,
Your correct, take your time, use good components and lubes, and always use a spring compressor !
Your all set for a lot of fun with your air gun !!!

You guys got me anxious to give it a try so after archery Elk is over I am going to give it a try. Checked out the unit we got drawn in and saw a ton of squirrels.
Want to tune the air guns for Oct. and give them a run.
