The stock had been carved and the new owner did not have the same name, so" Jack" had to go.
I hope he likes the result, as it is kind of permanent, LOL.

I thought about it and changed my mine a couple times, then just went for it.
I have started stripping the old finish of the rest of the stock, and it is a great piece of wood under all that factory crud.
