: My Titanium Gun!
: TexasShooter72 September 02, 2009, 07:51:14 AM
PSYCHE!  It aint a pellet gun!  This is my Ti bike and she's an absolute beaut!  It's a TST/ Sanvik Titanium frame(which was fabricated by a former Boeing employee), Easton carbon fiber bars and seat post, Easton Magnesium stem, Chris King headset, Marzocchi Marathon S triple-air fork with an air negative spring, WTB Ti saddle, full Shimano XTR drivetrain, Race Face cranks, Race Face bottom bracket, Crank Bros. Candy pedals, Shimano XT hubs on Sun Ringle Rhino Lite rims & Avid titanium brakes!  The only one of its kind!

A little eye-candy for the mountainbikers!

Enjoy!

You is worse than an FT PCP nut!  Have to go outin the garage and polish up the 1972 Raleigh Supercourse now.  (Did buy a new, soft-tush saddle for it.  Got to stay high tech, you know.)

PSYCHE!:)  I recall purchasing a new seat/seal back in 82 for mine and used moly grease on the springs:) Oh ya, and twin alloy extended shift levers mounted on the stem.
Really nice bike you have BTW:)  Tony.

I've a ten year old Alpinestar DX and a Marin Nail Trail...both aluminum and hard-tails.  I think just your fork alone is the same value as one of my whole bike.  heh heh  Great looking bike you've got there.

Brand new that fork retailed for $569.00.  That's NOT what I payed for it, of course.  I worked at CambriaBike.com and since we bought a bunch of them I think I got the fork for $270 or so!
