I will be hosting my second FUN SHOOT Sept 18-20 here in Charleston SC (Johns Island) and all from my GTA Family are welcome!!:D I learned alot from my first one & promise to make this one even better!!:) I have a full 150 yrd range with many safety precautions in place. (200 yards is available on "off days") This promises to be a GREAT time for us to get together & "Shoot The Bull"!!:p There is a 20x40 outdoor screened dining facility with a full kitchen & grill. I gots a big ole pile of wood for a kick butt bon fire to sit around Sat. night!!8) I have "Inside Info" that me "Papa Bear" (Gene Curtis) & "Mr Bob" ("Charlie Da Tuna") will be here!!(http://../jscripts/tiny_mce/plugins/emotions/images/smiley-cool.gif) I hope MANY of you can make it to what promises to a super Fun Shoot!! I dont know how to do "Links" yet,,,, so a lil help with that from the last Fun Shoot would be much appreciated!! Moved on to the front of the roof today. (Back is almost finished!!:D ) I gotta make sure my guests stay warm & dry!!8) Im getting a lil too old for this kinda work but,,,, Im doing it the safe way & its good for me!!:p I got alot yet to do & a couple of stocks I GOTTA finish up by next Fri. also!!:o I like this kind of preasure!!8) My Buddy Hutch is gonna be with me on the roof job & we are gonna start getting the range/tables/targets/cutting grass ect on Wens. My Buddy Paul ("Shadowshot") told me last night he is coming late Thurs.,,, My Bestest Buddy Roger, ("Bawhannah") says he should be here around lunch time Fri. Thank goodness,, some helping hands!!:p 8) Roger is bringing some REALLY neat stuff,, bring some $$!! LOL!!:D My PM,s & E-Mails have kinda over whealmed me,,, my notes are a mess!! If you have tryed to contact me & have not recieved a reply,,, please try again. Good to hear all the updates Son. I sent you a PM letting you know that Bob, Ernie and I will be leavin early on Friday morning. You know Earnie will be a big help if you guide him in the right direction. He plans on camping outside in his tent. Bob and I cannot wait to get down there to visit you and all the other members that we have not met before.
These events sure make our air gun community strong, and thanks for hosting this event Timmy.

Knowing J's propensity for things that go "BOOM", I presume he will bring his compressor and an air tank, which is good, since I am bringing the AA S410 and fill adaptor, but no air tank or pump.
Hey Timmy: you got any blueboard insulation? Cut into 2' x 4' sections with a bit of spray adhesive, it makes a great backboard for targets.

Hey Timmy: you got any blueboard insulation? Cut into 2' x 4' sections with a bit of spray adhesive, it makes a great backboard for targets.
Well he has had an issue with his compressor. It sprung a leak at the last shoot :( But him and Roy worked on it today and they made it better than before. Found out though the compressor was not made to to run as high as he's been running it. But of course ya'll know J he will find a way to get those pressures that he loves so much. :)

Looks like you all are gonna have a blast!! I know that I'm not the only one that would like to attend somethin like that but isn't a posibility. SO..... we will need lots and lots of pictures!!!!! oh man.. Not only am I on call that wknd but I have to go to my sister-in-law's baby shower which I objected to, but my wife has a ton of stuff & presents that she wants me to help her carry and fit in the SUV somehow.
Well I 'm sure you 'll have great attendance Tim and it 'll be a blast. I expect to see lots of pics and some videos like last year :)

Man,,, I got 3 full time jobs now,,,,, putting on a new roof,,,, tryin ta get a few custom stocks done,,,, & tryin ta get all set up for the Fun Shoot!!!!:o Oh Yeah,,,, job # 4: keeping up with all my PM,s/E-Mails & phone calls!!!!!:p This Fun Shoot is shaping up to be the biggest one yet!! This is gonna be one for the record books Folks,,, this one is gonna have WAY more Folks than the last one!!:D Im gonna have THREE covered ranges set up this time!!8) (Bring targets if Ya got em) I will get some pics up soon. I have the long guns, but I might get you to pick up the new KIDD barrel and trigger action for the 10/22 from my office, on your way out of town, if you don't mind too much. We could do a bit of gun smithing at the shoot and I would sure like to try them out without waiting another week.

Tommy,,,,, I just finished building a new "stop" for you powder burner guys,,,, 3 ft. X 4 ft. ,,,,, 1/2 inch plate steel on a 45 degree angle for a back stop.(http://../jscripts/tiny_mce/plugins/emotions/images/smiley-cool.gif)I re built the one that has been here for years,,,, it stops 30-06 rounds with no problem!!:) It weighs about 250 lbs,,,,, I assume you will help me wheel it out to 100+ yrds on the hand truck??:p LOL!! Oh yeah,,,, I will get you a "Leftie" bench built/set up for you in the morning.:) Tim.
