It's definitely Chinese, as it's got Chinese figures faintly on the barrel. Thanks so far though.

I have that same gun. It is a B7 Chinese for sure. It has those same markings on the barrel. Mike Melick put it back together for me after I took it apart, kinda. I didn't know what it was until he identified it for me. Rachet style cocking lever, front sight raise and lower with a screw twist, but plate some kinda of metal one stage triger. Fun shooter don't have a crony. Fps? Mine is about 23-25 years old. I don't know how to send pics, have some of my son and I having fun.

I was very fortunate to pick up this 3 position FT Chinese shooter. She is the Clone of the FWB-300. Very well made Chinese air gun that is simple a fantastic shooter. She is being brought back to original as I write this post back. Timmy has her and a new stock from Compasseco. She will be refinished by Timmy and I will do the final tune when I get her back. Originally bought from Dave1899 last month.
The bluing is fantastic and very deep. The cocking and shooting cycle is a dream. I probably will just do a de burr and lube on her and anything else that needs attention. Can't wait to see what Timmy is gonna do to the finish..:)

Guess what - that's my new-to-me rifle! Thanks, Graham for helping me out! You must have seen it on ukchineseairgunforum.
So joe, is there a schematic or manual on-line? And what do you use to adjust the front sight?
I just fired mine for the first time last night. Tight groups but high and I've adjusted the rear sight to an extreme.
Thanks!

Couldn't find any info on line. Mike Melick knew about the B7 and knows the ins and outs. For the front sight I use needle nose pliers through the hole in the top, right turn it goes down, left is up. Mine was frozen, a little 10w40 did the trick.

I had a rifle very similar to this that I bought in a gun show around 1991 for $25 to $35 dollars in .177. I want to say that it was a Norinco. I took it apart and could not get it back together. I was young and dumb. I remember this gun being fairly accurate and powerfull. I do not remember it having a safety. Looked like a SKS air rifle for training. May be the same. or does any one Know what this was. again 1991 in georgia gun show. $30

the gun is a Norinco. I talked to the guy I got it from and he confirmed it. I did the same took it apart and had to send it to Mike Melick to get back together. He replaced the leather seal and it doesn't have a safty. Shoots well and accurate, no scope rail just those open sights.
