: Any interest in a QB-57??
: Black Mamba September 11, 2009, 02:17:48 PM

I have one that I am required (read that as wife has put a foot down) to sell and I'm wondering if anyone is interested.

Comes with a tune, 3 spring guides, BSA Red Dot and has been gone through and proven out to be an 8-9 Ft/Lbs shooter. Redone on the wood in Bedliner black.

1" groups with .22 cal JSB Exacts are easy even at 30 yards for me. No trigger work done as none was required.

I have taken SEVERAL chippers, two squirrels and one rabbit with this gun.

you would figure a take down would be the easiest rifle to hide from our better halfs...LOL

They are great little guns. Even assembled, they are short and easy to store and deploy.

On the two I messed with, I didn't find the take down feature all that practical. I had to reef the locking knob down with channel locks and a rag to keep them from twisting, and it isn't easy to do and undo that often. There are fixes for this which involve modding the key and slot for a better fit, but I was lazy. Another "rainy day" project but it has never kept me from enjoying this great little rifle.

It is one of Mommy's favorite shooters and an ideal lady's gun (even though I like it too). Youshould get the wife totry it, but I suppose this is easier said than done. I am lucky and have to pry several of my favorites from her warm live fingers to get a shot in now and then.

It takes a brave, self-assured  man to be so honest.  Perhaps there are some cowardly husbands who will take this off your hands and sneak it into their house disguised as a lap top?  C'mon, guys, raid that sugar bowl!  :D

If I didn't already have a .22 QB-57 that my wife didn't know about I'd grab this one   :o

I have accumulated debt in the form of backing my wife's car into my father's 4runner with brush guard.  He took very little damage and my wife's care ..... well.....I'm glad we have to only pay the deductable.

Aww, I always hate to see the foot being put down especially after all that work you done on it :( The qb-57 's  really don't take up much space and a nice plastic case maybe suggest a nice gift from wife to you? Or you to wife and include maybe gold and jewels? :) My kids like the look of the QB-57 it's  an accurate and fun AG. wish I could justify another one, Tony.
