I was down at the Cabela's near Fort Worth Texas.
They have loads of Christmas shopping returns and discontinued model
air rifles for sale.
I picked up a GAMO 1250 Hurricane for $250, brand new. (discontinued)
They have RWS, GAMO, Winchester, Beeman and a few of their own version
of the GAMO Shadow 1000 with scopes and beautiful stocks as well.
If you live near by, you have to and take a look.

New IZH-46M on its way here, sold 4 of my guns this past week or so. Trying to wait till I sell the others to buy a PCP, then I'll have completed my collection.....I want to end up with one pistol, one PCP rifle, and either another good springer, or just keep one of my nice CO2 guns. I have two very nice CO2 guns that are just pretty much sitting here because it's usually too hot or too cold here to shoot them effectively. I have tried and tried and although I do like springers, they don't "grab" me like the valved guns do. Cabelas mostly sells springers and "toy" guns, I have enough toy guns and I just sold 3 comparable springers....one of which I bought at Cabelas....hehe!!!

The nearest Cabelas to me is in Pennsylvania, about a 2 - 3 hour drive for me, and I thank GOD it's that's far away!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
If I were close enough to just hop in the truck and take a quick spin over there I know for a fact I'd be dead broke, building another addition onto the house just for airgun storage, probably looking for a good "chapter 11" attorney, have enough lead pellets in my house to shield me from a low level nuclear blast and oh yes,,,, lets not forget DIVORCED !!

Sure, everyone get's to go to CABELAS while I can hardly get out of my driveway because of the 3 ft. of snow. :( Go ahead and go, I didn't want to go anyway.! Anyone got a helicopter and can airlift me to CABELAS. Ed

Hehe, and not only that but your gun is trapped by snow about an hour away.......hahahahahahahaha!

Sure, go ahead and laugh everyone. My gun's sitting all by it's lonsome an hour away, but I'm sure shooting the heck out of my new B26-2.:) Still waiting on the helicopter guy's and we'll have to pick up gun also. I have cleared some snow for a landing pad. Hurry up, it's getting cold out here holding this flashlight for a landing light. hehe. Ed

Years ago we had a REAL NICE GUNSHOP, Eddlemans, and I used to go way out of my way to "drop by", GOSH HOW I LOVED THAT PLACE, sadly, it's gone. sniff, sniff, sniff......

Kinda funny though, I've got my other airgun's here and shot each one today. BUT there's something about a new addition to the family, It's like gitting your first one all over again. Yes I have a airgun addiction and I LIKE IT, I LIKE IT A LOT hehe. Ed

Okay.... since I'm amongst other addicts here.... I'll confess..... while at Cabela's
I also bought a new RWS 350.....and a BSA 3-9X50 Red Dot scope & mounts....
.. couldn't help myself.
That's not all, on the way home (10 mile detour) I stopped in at Academy Sports and
bought two more Aluminum hard cases for the two new rifles.
Just today I ordered another 3-9X50 Scope & mounts plus a Chrony Beta.... plus about
5 packs of different pellets to try out in the new rifles.
I think I'm done now..... I think so anyhow..... until the next time.

Would that be Mitchell, SD, Ed? Only thing I remember about there is the Corn Palace and a fireworks stand, of course it was June 1970 and a bunch of us kids were on the way to Oshkosh WI for the EAA Flyin. Amazing I can remember anything that far back, hahaha.

Yea, hehe, if I did that my little "family" would look like that too, because my wife would take the kids and move away leaving me with my guns and no other family:)
Nice looking stuff, I really like those hardcases too. Where are you btw? I'm just off of Basswood (off of 35W about 8 miles south of Cabelas). Would love to get together and shoot or just talk air rifles someday.

Heheh, I'm about 45 miles south west of Mitchell and the corny palace is still around. Firework's! anything go's here. You want rocket's, how high do you want to go lol.Today's Sunday, no delivery's today:( , bet it will be here tommorrow. :).Ed
